Civil 3D 2017 What’s New: Pressure Pipes

May 12, 2016 By Leo Lavayen Leave a comment

In the new release of Civil 3D 2017, we gained a few more Pressure Pipe catalogs and a few more parts.  Using the SetPressureNetworkCatalog command we can see the complete list

  1. Imperial_AWWA_Flanged.sqlite
  2. Imperial_AWWA_HDPE.sqlite - NEW
  3. Imperial_AWWA_Mechanical.sqlite
  4. Imperial_AWWA_PushOn.sqlite
  5. Imperial_AWWA_PVC.sqlite - NEW
  6. Imperial_AWWA_Steel.sqlite - NEW

My favorite from the new list is the new PVC catalog, as it provides 2 NEW Appurtenances:  Butterfly Valve & Hydrant

As in previous releases, only one catalog can be set current at a time an parts are not shared within Parts List.
