Civil Table Export Application

Are you looking for a way to access Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D table information in Microsoft Excel? Look no further!  Now available in the Autodesk app store, this free application exports data from Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D tables to a format compatible with Microsoft Excel.  It is called Civil Table Export and is available at the following link:

https://apps.autodesk.com/CIV3D/en/Detail/Index?id=7594632698699596084&appLang=en&os=Win64

This application is useful for exporting data from Civil 3D tables for which there is no native export to Microsoft compatible file formats.  It is intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D versions 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014.

To obtain this application, download the “MSI” Windows (Microsoft) installer file from the Autodesk App Store and run it on your computer.  The setup documentation indicates that an icon appears in the Civil 3D ribbon if one does not appear you can still run the application from the command line.  The process for exporting tabular data is simple.  Type the command “CIVILTABLEEXPORTTOCSV” at the command line prompt, select the table from a drawing, and choose a name and location for the “CSV” file to be created.  The resulting file can be opened and edited in Microsoft Excel.
