Autodesk Inventor 2016 What's New - Drawing Views

April 13, 2015 By Craig Bashor Leave a comment

John F. Kennedy said "Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." Without a doubt... Today, the hardware and software technology is moving at the blink of an eye. The official release for most of the Autodesk 2016 products began April 13, 2015, so I thought I would give you an appetizer of what has been enhanced within Autodesk Inventor 2016.

The way Drawing Base Views are created has been streamlined and may catch you off guard. After starting the Base View command, you will notice the Drawing View dialog box is much smaller. It no longer contains the Orientation Area, which is now located next to the view using a View Cube. All other functions, like scale, style and label still exist within the dialog.
