Building Intersections with Overlapping Alignments in Civil 3D

When multiple alignments are present at an intersection, Civil 3D will recognize ALL of the alignments and create funky corridors.

It is not a typical scenario to have multiple alignments stacked up in the same location. However, there are some reasons for overlaps, such as:
