Doug Folck, Lead Technical Support, is in our Technical Support Spotlight. I sat down with him to ask some questions about his role at Advanced Solutions, life and the things he does for fun.
How long have you been with Advanced Solutions?
In 1988, I began my own business oriented computer service company. Advanced Solutions quickly became my best customer. In 1993, I joined Advanced Solutions as VP of Operations.
What does a Lead Technical Support person do?
Engages in the daily queue of technical support cases, plus, mentors other tech support representatives. I work to create an environment, which enables continuous improvement.
What Autodesk software do you support on?
To some degree, all Autodesk products … I have a special interest and knowledge of GIS, infrastructure and mapping applications.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
There’s always something new to learn. Learning is living! If you’re not continually learning something new, then you merely exist.
