Civil 3D 2017 What’s New:  Not Backwards Compatible

On a recent support case, I came to realize that although Civil 3D 2017 uses the 2013 drawing format, the AEC objects (Points, Surfaces, Alignment, Profiles, Corridors, Pipes, Etc...) have been updated, causing them to not be recognized by the previous versions.
