Autodesk Inventor 2016 What's New - Drawing Views

John F. Kennedy said "Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." Without a doubt... Today, the hardware and software technology is moving at the blink of an eye. The official release for most of the Autodesk 2016 products began April 13, 2015, so I thought I would give you an appetizer of what has been enhanced within Autodesk Inventor 2016.

The way Drawing Base Views are created has been streamlined and may catch you off guard. After starting the Base View command, you will notice the Drawing View dialog box is much smaller. It no longer contains the Orientation Area, which is now located next to the view using a View Cube. All other functions, like scale, style and label still exist within the dialog.

Autodesk Inventor 2016 What’s New – 3D Printing Environment

Welcome back to another post about Autodesk Inventor 2016 What's New. I will be your host Bob Barker... Just kidding, my name is Craig. I was just trying to lighten the mood. Now, on with the serious and cool stuff.

It seems to me that more and more companies are investing in 3D printing and/or rapid prototyping. The market is exploding for end-users looking to purchasing a 3D printer. Some of the major 3D printing providers are Ultimaker, RepRap, Makerbot and now even Autodesk has jumped in the game with Ember. In fact, Advanced Solutions has even developed a printer for the bio-medical printer industry.

Ahhh... Spring is in the air, the snow has melted, the temperature is rising, and the days are lasting longer. During this time of the year, many people increase their physical activities and others have to increase their mental activities.

This spring Autodesk is releasing its 2016 products and those who enjoy receiving new products, love this time of year. Even more important, those who love receiving new products, also like to know what new enhancements and tools can be used to increase their design and documentation efficiency. In this post, I will touch on the Home dashboard for Autodesk Inventor 2016.
